Trends in Computer Science and Information Technology (TCSIT) welcomes high-quality, original research articles, reviews, case studies, and technical reports in the field of computer science and information technology. Authors must follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth submission and review process.

  • Research Articles: Original research presenting novel findings.
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive analysis of advancements in a domain.
  • Case Studies: Real-world applications and methodologies.
  • Technical Notes: Brief reports on new techniques or datasets.

▪ Manuscript Formatting

  • Font & Spacing: Times New Roman, 12pt, 1.5 spacing.
  • Referencing: NLM citation style.
  • Figures & Tables: High-resolution images, sequential numbering.
  • Section Structure: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References.

▪ Submission Process

  • Submission Platform: Manuscripts must be submitted via the journal's online submission system.
  • Required Documents:
    • Manuscript (Word format).
    • Cover Letter.
    • Authorship Confirmation.
    • Conflict of Interest Declaration.
    • Funding Statement (if applicable).
    • Ethical Approval (if required).

▪ Peer Review Process

  • Initial Screening: Formatting, plagiarism, and scope compliance check.
  • Double-Blind Review: Two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript.
  • Review Duration: Typically 4-6 weeks.
  • Decision Stages: Acceptance, minor/major revisions, or rejection.

  • Plagiarism Screening: All submissions are checked using iThenticate.
  • Originality: Submissions must be unpublished and not under review elsewhere.
  • Data Integrity: Authors must present accurate, unaltered research data.
  • Authorship Transparency: All listed authors must have contributed to the research.

TCSIT is an open-access journal. Articles are published under the CC BY 4.0 License, allowing unrestricted reuse with proper attribution.

▪ Article Processing Charges (APC)

The Article Processing Charge (APC) is 1849 USD per accepted manuscript. Waivers are available for authors from low-income countries.

▪ Withdrawal Policy

Authors may withdraw their manuscript before acceptance. Withdrawals after acceptance may incur a processing fee.
