Trends in Computer Science and Information Technology (TCSIT) welcomes high-quality, original research contributions from authors worldwide. To ensure a smooth submission and review process, authors must adhere to the following submission guidelines and manuscript preparation standards.
▪ General Submission Requirements
Before submitting a manuscript, authors should ensure that their submission meets the following requirements:
- Originality: The manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
- Language: All manuscripts must be written in clear and grammatically correct English.
- Ethical Standards: All research involving human or animal subjects must have received appropriate ethical approval.
- Formatting Compliance: Manuscripts must follow the journal’s formatting guidelines to avoid desk rejection.
▪ Manuscript Categories
The journal accepts submissions in the following categories:
- Research Articles: Full-length studies presenting novel research findings.
- Review Articles: Comprehensive analysis of current trends and developments.
- Case Studies: Detailed reports of specific projects, methodologies, or applications.
- Technical Notes: Brief reports on emerging technologies, methodologies, or datasets.
▪ Manuscript Formatting Guidelines
Authors must follow the journal’s manuscript formatting guidelines to facilitate the review and production process:
- Font & Spacing: Use Times New Roman, 12pt font with 1.5 line spacing.
- Margins: Set margins to 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
- Page Numbers: Include page numbers in the bottom-right corner.
- Referencing Style: Follow the NLM citation format.
- Figures & Tables: Number figures and tables sequentially, with captions placed below for figures and above for tables.
- Equations: Use Microsoft Equation Editor or LaTeX for mathematical expressions.
▪ Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts must be structured as follows:
- Title Page: Includes the manuscript title, author names, affiliations, and corresponding author contact details.
- Abstract: A concise summary (maximum 250 words) outlining the research objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.
- Keywords: 4-6 relevant keywords for indexing.
- Introduction: Provides background, research gaps, and study objectives.
- Methodology: Describes research design, data collection, and analytical methods.
- Results & Discussion: Presents findings with interpretation and comparison with existing studies.
- Conclusion: Summarizes key findings and future research directions.
- References: Lists all cited sources in NLM format.
- Appendices (if necessary): Provides additional supporting information.
▪ Submission Process
Authors must submit their manuscripts through the online submission system. The submission package should include:
- Manuscript File: Submitted in Word format following journal guidelines.
- Cover Letter: Briefly describing the manuscript’s significance and originality.
- Conflict of Interest Statement: Declaring any potential conflicts.
- Funding Information: If applicable, authors should disclose funding sources.
- Ethical Approval (if required): Necessary for research involving human or animal subjects.
▪ Peer Review and Decision Process
- Initial Screening: Manuscripts are reviewed for formatting compliance, plagiarism, and scope.
- Double-Blind Peer Review: Two independent reviewers assess the manuscript.
- Review Duration: The peer review process takes approximately 4-6 weeks.
- Editorial Decision: Manuscripts may be accepted, require minor/major revisions, or be rejected.
▪ Article Processing Charges (APC)
The Article Processing Charge (APC) is 1849 USD per accepted manuscript. Waivers and discounts may be available for authors from low-income countries.

- Plagiarism Screening: All manuscripts are checked using iThenticate.
- Data Integrity: Authors must ensure that all presented data is accurate and original.
- Authorship Responsibility: All listed authors must have significantly contributed to the research.
